Whispers That Move the Mountains – Part 2

In Whispers That Move the Mountains – Part 2, we dive deeper into the power of prayer and how it shapes us from the inside out. Just as the devil planted doubts in Eve’s mind in Genesis 3 with the question, “Did God really say…”, so too does the enemy use subtle questions to trap us in confusion and guilt.

But greatness isn’t about external success. True greatness is measured by humility, servitude, and self-sacrifice. Often, we turn to prayer only when we’re in need, treating it like an escape route. Yet, prayer isn’t about loud declarations or fancy words. As Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6, it’s the sincerity of the heart that matters most, not the length of time spent.

Prayer changes us before it changes our circumstances. It brings clarity, peace in chaos, and relief from the burdens we carry—burdens the enemy tricks us into believing are ours to bear. False burdens can burn us out and weigh us down, but prayer untangles these weights and detoxifies the heart and mind.

When we pray, it’s not about controlling God’s will. We must accept that some trials are necessary, and perseverance will work in us if we allow it. Even Jesus, in Matthew 26:39, surrendered to God’s will. The power is never in our words but in God, who listens and acts according to His will.
